Gazprom is ready to start talks with Ankara on Turkish Stream
“Gazprom” company has declared its readiness to begin negotiations with the Turkish colleagues on the construction of gas pipeline “Turkish Stream” under the Black Sea. This was announced in the Monday, June 27, according to the representative of “Gazprom” Sergei Kupriyanov.
He noted that the Russian side has always been open to this dialogue.
Recall that the Russian company, together with our European colleagues originally planned to build a gas pipeline with capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas under the Black Sea through Bulgaria to Europe. However, European officials have revised their position, and Moscow has started similar negotiations with Ankara.
